God’s Plan of Salvation
1. God Loves You
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
You were created by God, in His image, and for a relationship with Him. His love for you is real, personal, and unchanging.
2. Our Problem: Sin
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
Every one of us has rebelled against God. Sin separates us from Him and brings judgment and death (Romans 6:23). No amount of good works, church attendance, or moral effort can bridge that gap.
3. God’s Solution: Jesus Christ
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
Jesus Christ—God’s Son—lived the perfect life we could not live, died on the cross in our place, and rose again, defeating death and sin forever. Through Him alone we can be forgiven and reconciled to God.
4. Your Response: Repent and Believe
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
Salvation is not about religion, rituals, or trying harder. It is about faith—trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
- Repent: Turn away from sin and self-reliance.
- Believe: Place your full trust in Jesus’ finished work on the cross.
- Confess: Declare Him as Lord of your life.
5. A Simple Prayer of Faith
Praying these words doesn’t save you—faith in Christ does. But if you’re ready to follow Him, you can pray something like this:
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust You alone as my Savior and Lord. Forgive me, change me, and help me follow You from this day forward. Amen.”
If you prayed that sincerely, welcome to God’s family.
6. Next Steps as a New Believer
- Read the Bible daily (start in the Gospel of John).
- Pray regularly—talk to God as your Father.
- Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow.
- Tell someone about your decision. Share what Christ has done in you.
⚡ Final Encouragement
Your life may not change overnight, but your eternity has. You are now forgiven, redeemed, and adopted into God’s family.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
